ACE Mentors & Mentees Visit Construction Site

Recently, ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY Team 22 mentors and their high school mentees took a field trip to 360 Park Ave South to visit an active Boston Properties (BXP) construction site!

AKF Team 22 mentors Nikki Maher, Grant Schwabacher, and Sik Fai Wong joined Christopher Starace of BXP who led the group through the inner workings of a building and taught the students about the construction process for this 20-story existing building that is being converted to commercial office space with a brand-new restaurant / café and flexible conferencing / event space on the main floor. The group discussed construction logistics, architectural finishes, MEP considerations when designing for visual aesthetics, and visited back of house mechanical spaces!
